F5 Savannah male
We are very pleased to welcome « Sangha » among us.
This male of generation 5 has characteristics much sought in Savannah: long ears facing forward, a contrasting fur, a long head with a straight black nose which is very rare in F5 Savannahs.
Savannahs male of F1, F2 and F3 generations are always sterile. In rare cases, a F4 savannah male can be fertile.
We must therefore look to F5 Savannah males to develop and ensure the continuity of the breed. Hence the great challenge: to preserve as much as possible the serval characteristics despite the number of generations away from the wild cat.
We watch « Sangha » nicknamed « Mouche » grow by being a little perplexed, I must say. Sangha is a very affectionate and playful kitten. It is also very sweet and purrs constantly. He will have to mate our big F1 savannah girls but for now he does not seem to worry about it and he plays and runs everywhere with them.
